Maastricht in de steigers | Voormalig PLEM-gebouw nieuwe locatie azc Maastricht

Het voormalig PLEM-gebouw aan de François de Veijestraat in Maastricht, een gemeentelijk monument, wordt het nieuwe onderkomen voor het azc Maastricht. Rondom het bestaande gebouw worden nog vijf nieuwe woonblokken gebouwd.

Het COA (Centraal Orgaan Opvang Asielzoekers) bevestigt hier- mee haar keuze voor Maastricht als kernlocatie in de provincie voor de opvang van asielzoekers.
